Want to Date But Not Over Your Ex? 5 Things You Need to Know

A broken heart, disappointment, disillusionment, pain. Sound familiar?

Yes, just about every person on this planet has experienced a heart-wrenching breakup at one time or another in their lives. And you know all the cliches (which, thankfully, I’m not going to repeat) that are supposed to help.

But no matter how much you try to move on, you’re still pining over your ex.

There is a solution to this problem. You can move on and you can with added benefits, too. Here’s how:

1. Allow yourself to grieve.

If there’s one thing I know for sure, it’s the only way out is through. That means you have to be willing to let yourself truly feel the pain of your loss.

Most people are afraid of feeling bad, so they distract themselves in an attempt to avoid the pain. By doing so, they keep it stuck inside – festering. Therefore, by facing the pain head on it becomes unstuck.

I teach everyone that allowing themselves to feel the pain means allowing themselves to release it in turn. Before you know it, what felt so hurtful is gone – disappeared. Yes, it’s that simple.

2. Gain emotional independence.

If you really want to be free from your ex and start dating again, you have to stop looking to others to give you emotional fulfillment.

Things like love, happiness and fun are all available to you now. You don’t need a man. Period. Start being emotionally fulfilled now.

3. Affirm your strength.

You are stronger than you think you are, but you need to start believing it. The best way to do that is to affirm, day and night, that you are strong and that you can do this.

It’s true. You can move on and you can find new love.

“By following these steps,

you’ll be ready in no time.”

4. Love yourself unconditionally.

When you love yourself, you attract even more love to you. The funny thing about this is it comes to you when you’re not even looking. You naturally become a love-magnet!

5. Summon your courage.

You’ve been doing your personal growth work and now the moment of truth has come. It’s time to get out there and meet new people.

It doesn’t matter how you do it, just that you do it in the first place. You’re ready now.

By following these steps, you’ll be ready in no time. You will even find you have grown and blossomed quite beautifully, I might add. Enjoy the process and enjoy your dating adventure.
