33 and Want a Baby But Don't Want to Ruin Relationship

I am 33 and childless. After a series of failed relationships, I have a great guy and I am ready to be a mom.

At 31 I ended an engagement that I knew would lead to a crappy marriage. Two years later and I have been in an exclusive, stable, and great relationship for six months (known him for over a year).

The challenge I foresee is timing on kids. I am ready to have a baby in the next 1-2 years, but I don’t know if he is. When I first started dating him I knew the last thing I wanted to do was pressure him. My ex accused of having a timeline. However, I am starting to get anxiety about my age again.

When do I talk to my current bf about kids? I don’t want to pressure him or waste my time. I value our relationship immensely and see him as a life partner. He takes life as it comes and our relationship has developed slowly and methodically. I am afraid we won’t kids at the same time. He has lots of time and I don’t. How do I balance wanting kids and growing our relationship?

You should take a baby right now.
