Attraction faded over long distance? Possible to get it back?

    Hey everyone,

I wanted to see what those of you with adequate dating experience would recommend me do in this situation. I met a girl last summer at a convention–I was attracted to her and she was attracted to me–and we both ended up exchanging information and talked via e-mail for over a year since she lives out of the country. Now she’s back in town and we’ve already been on two dates, but I don’t have that same level of attraction as I did before. I feel as if the long distance somewhat “kindled the fire” so to speak–for example, a year ago I would find old photos of her very attractive but a year later it doesn’t do much for me. I’m going on a third date with her as I am still interested and want to get to know her better but at the same time I don’t want to hurt her while I’m trying to discover if there’s anything there for her. What do you guys recommend? I’ll let you guys know what happens after the third date as I’m going on it tonight!

    Thanks everyone.

All the best, and in this situation go with your gut decision.

Go with your gut. Attraction does fade over time apart without seeing one another. Hope it works out!

Gut feelings like they said above tend to be right in these situations..
    Best of luck to ya
