    Dating a single mom

Ladies, I need your help here with my current situation. Recently I began talking with a girl that we figured out together that we’ve known of each other for almost ten years, just never “officially met”. But now that we’re familiar with each other we seem to have a lot in common, get along well, and even went on a first date last week. The date went well, dinner, good conversation, etc. Nothing physical happened which I was fine with.

She’s great, has two daughters ages 5 and 3 I believe. I haven’t met them yet, as per her request. I’m not expecting to meet them unless we get to the “boyfriend/girlfriend” stage, which is ultimately what I am hoping for. I’m just wondering how to approach her to not make it seem like I’m trying to put myself in front of her daughters, which I’m not. What I know about the father is that their relationship wasn’t great, but he’s making effort to stay in the girls lives, which is good. I just want to be sure I’m being respectful, but still romantic.

Sound like you really want to commit to this relationship. Regarding woman with children, I think it best to take it slow. Allow her to set the pace. If she want to introduce you to her children she will when she feel it ready. Just continue to take her out on date and make her feel special. If she talk about her children, listen to her and show that you are interest in getting to know them one day. Hope this help 🙂
