I’ve got a girlfriend, so he assumes I’m a lesbian but I’m really bisexual. Him and I have spent a lot of time talking about our girlfriends, really just complaining. He recently broke up with his, I’m still working on breaking up with mine. The other day, we were texting about work then he said he’s been really unhappy lately and asked if I broke up with my girlfriend yet. I said no and he urged me to do so for my happiness. He’s always seemed to care for me more than his other employees. He’s taken me out for lunch before and always wants to know how I’m doing. I swear I’ve caught him staring at me before, but I overthink everything. He once even made a comment that it would be impossible for him and I to be together. I think it was word vomit and of course he just thinks we couldn’t be together because he thinks I’m just into women. If I could just casually mention I’m bisexual I wonder how he would react. Does he like me? Once I’m single, how do I let him know I’m interested?

I should also mention how much we have in common, with similar interests and personalities. He’s invited me to come see his band play before. There’s also been some light, playful teasing but I feel like he’s also just a naturally flirty person. He’s a nice, caring guy so it’s hard to tell if he likes me or if he’s like that with other people too. I feel like he’s opened up and talked to me about personal things. It seems like he made it a point to tell me when he became single and now he’s really hoping I become available soon too.

Take caution… it’s not bad that he’s interested, but if he comes off too strong knowing that you are taken, then he’s no good.
