Go or no for this divorced guy?

Our chemistry over online was great. Our first date was awkward because I froze on him which left him in wonder what He did wrong and we almost didn’t see each other again. I apologized and asked for a second chance, I came over to make delicious dinner, things went great and we got all comfy all over again and the sex was awesome . Now I understand how busy a man can be with work and things around him, not to mention the obligations he has over his divorce, difficult ex wife, alimony , child supports. I for sure am aware how the last marriage affects him greatly to the point he admitted he has to protect himself from getting hurt again. It’s been a week since then and he texts a lot less, we had no problem admitting how attracted we are to each other before over online when he hadn’t met yet, and now that we have… things are very very quiet and awkward between us especially when I express what I like about him, I don’t think I did anything wrong but I’m not sure what’s on his mind.

No such thing as “Chemistry online”. That is complete imagination.
The longer you spend online with each other before actually meeting, then the worse reality will be for you both. Why? Because you’ve fed your imagination a lot of nonsense about him.

“He texts a lot less”….why? Because texting before he met you was imagination fueled.
