How long is too long to wait for him?

I’m an outgoing (and somewhat awkward and inexperienced) girl. So I saw this attractive guy, and my friends knew him and encouraged me to approach him so I did. He agreed to go out with me.

We went on a group date first, then movies, then group date, then movies again, then another group date, and then ice cream. We always talk for over an hour or two after movies or ice cream just because. This is over the span of now 2 1/2 months.

I asked him how he felt, and he said he needs to know me better. He doesn’t know if he wants to be in a relationship with me, but it’s been a long time. I understand getting to know a person, but we know each other very well now. But he says he needs more time and I’m just getting really stressed out now with all this unknown. He says he’s interested, but he doesn’t know how he feels.

How much longer should I give him? I like him, but the longer he takes the more sad it makes me and the more I think maybe, if I was it for him, he would know by now?

You need to go out by yourselves to something a little more interesting. Something like a hike, paintball, or something you guys can do together and get a little flirt on. Second after a couple more adventurous dates got to a drive in movie theatre (there are actually a lot of them). Bring 2 blankets and some drinks. If he doesn’t make a move on you there its totally up to you, find a romantic scene in the movie look at him and when he looks back go for the kiss. Worst case you guys will be akward friends if it doesn’t work out.

Stop over analyzing. Take a chill pill and in the meantime submerge yourself in any other activity which you love. It will take the edge off.
