How to get a girlfriend when you're special needs?

I’m mentally slow and I really want a girlfriend really bad. No girl wants to give me a chance because of this. They want a guy with a car and a job. I applied for 11 jobs in two weeks and no interviews. The only money I get is yard work and I get $20 per house. No girl wants a mentally slow guy 🙁 And I’m really depressed about it.

This is a very unique situation that I doubt many people could possibly give you great insight on. As I am not in the special needs category, the only thing I can think to tell you is to reach out to someone in your community. If you have other friends who are special needs as well that have had experience or success in this area, I suggest asking them. My own opinion would be that it will probably be difficult for you to date a non-special needs woman and your best chance is to find women who are similar to you are are probably feeling a lot of the same emotions and loneliness. There is someone out there for everyone and I wish you best of luck in your search.

I agree with the other user. My friend, he has a physical disability and he found someone by reaching out in his community .. they dated for couple of months, and now he’s engaged. I’m really happy that he found someone that accepted him for who he is. I wish you best of luck too 🙂
