How to meet women when I prefer male-dominated activities

Hi, I have almost exclusively male-dominated interests (martial arts, weightlifting, video games, strategy games like chess…) and I’m studying management in university, which is also mostly male dominated.

I’m fairly confident that I have a decent amount to offer, since I’m physically fit, 6’3, (as far as I can tell) average or so looks, bilingual with 2 other languages I can get by in…

On the other hand I’ve never had a girlfriend, so I’m clearly doing something wrong.

If you’ve been doing this for awhile, and there’s really no one there that you’re interested in, keep doing what you do, but try to meet women elsewhere. Do something outside of your comfort zone, particularly if you know women do that. You don’t have to love it, but try it, and you’ll speak with women there. You can also be honest about not knowing what you’re doing. They might try to help you, and that will help you spark up conversation.

In an ideal world, you’ll be able to find a woman who likes a lot of the things you’re interested in; but especially in college, those women might be more into female-dominated activities, because they haven’t been exposed/encouraged to do male-dominated activities. Now, you might be hard-pressed to convince a woman to get into playing video games, if they weren’t into them before, but everything else is quite possible. Plus martial arts & weightlifting (or just going to the gym) together oftentimes turns people on.
