I screwed up. How should I fix it?

Last Friday I met this girl at an event. I’m attracted to her and I can tell she is too. We exchange glances, chat, she laughs at my jokes and drops some hints like asking me out of context if I have a girlfriend (I don’t). Later the group went to a club. I’m not much of a dancer and she didn’t seem to be dancing much either so instead I talked close to her ear (because of the loud music) and used that excuse to get some physical contact. She responds well so I go for the kiss. This is where it starts going south. I wasn’t sober anymore, got carried away and started kissing more aggressively. There was more tongue than it should and she got uncomfortable. We left shortly after and didn’t talk much. The next day I added her (among other people I had met) on Facebook to test the waters. She accepted the request but I haven’t talked to her yet because I am not sure what to say. Am I getting an opportunity to fix it or is she being polite? If yes, any ideas on how to approach this?
