    Know When to Walk Away

I was very uninspired today and for the life of me could not figure out what I wanted to write about. I am living in *Space at the moment and not too fussed about my relationship or non-relationship with Joe. In my mind I have set a “use by” date and it will either move forward or it won’t. It will be my decision and I find that very empowering and peaceful. He is unaware that such a date exists as I am not interested in creating an ultimatum, I want him to be who is and open himself to me naturally. A time limit will most definitely give me the answers either way. I hoping for the best and prepared for the not so best.
I spent the past couple of hours reading through topic titles and threads from a dating advice forum. One conclusion I have drawn is that we know the answer prior to putting the question out there we just hope the answer provided will be different. There were so many threads asking how to know if a man was worth the time or the effort. (I was reading threads written by

women only). Threads about a man who was using things said in confidence against a girlfriend. Threads about the disappearing man. The list goes on.What I have taken from the endless list of similar threads is that if you have to ask if its time to walk away then it is. If you don’t feel respected, trusted, loved and cherished walk away. If he makes you cry more than he makes you smile walk away. Life is short & its meant to be lived passionately. You cannot and should not want to change another person, man or woman, You either fit or you don’t. You cannot place a square peg in a round hole. The only project you should be involved with is self-improvement. End of story.

P.S. I believe in Fairy Tales. Today’s Mantra: Be your own best friend.

Go girl, what you say is correct, if the guy shows you sign that he is being disrespectful of who you are and what you do, then that guy is never worth your minute. Every person should be worthy of love, and never exclude yourself and never beg for someone to love you because you will end up finding the wrong person to love.

Fortunately, there are millions of opportunities to find the right person.
