    Long Distance Relationship, Single Mom

Recently I decided to get back in the dating game after being truly single for about a year and a half. I met this one guy and he is great and we like each other a lot. He lives about 90 miles away, which isn’t too bad imo, but the thing I am trying to figure out is when can I introduce him to my daughter and my family. I have told my family about him so they know, but they are so protective over my daughter and I. I am also protective over my daughter so that’s why I’m asking. Should my family meet him before he meets my daughter or vice versa? I mean I would introduce him as my friend at first then once we became officially boyfriend and girlfriend then I would explain everything. I’m kind of off my game when it comes to dating because I was in a relationship for 4 years that wasn’t going anywhere. Now that I have met this guy everything is different. I just don’t want to rush things. He wants to meet my family and my daughter, but I just want to know when is the right time

To be honest…you should wait over 6 months going closer to 1 year before he is to meet your kid and your family.People tend to show their true self within 4-6 months.Once he meets these people things can change very quickly.Just wait some more.

Maybe you should wait a bit longer so that you can understand more about him like his family, friends, how he treats kids, how many times you guys go out, etc. Getting to know him a little longer won’t hurt before meeting your family. 😀

Wait at least until you no him we’ll and do a background ck on him before you put him in with your family
