Here’s the readers digest version…..
Female – 5’5″, 150 lbs… average strength, has rheumatoid arthritis. Can’t open a water bottle in the morning and walks with a limp
Male – 6’8″, 340 lbs… strong enough to move a 2500 lb safe without assistance
If the female pushes the males hand away when she is angry…and also says something rude to him….
Is it appropriate for him to shove her back?
What if she punches him while playing around?
Is it appropriate for him to punch her back?
I am interested in hearing responses and advice from everyone with an opinion…..

I might sound old fashioned. But I believe it is not OK for a man to hit a woman. In my opinion, there are very tiny and specific exceptions to this. I believe if you’re truly concerned for your safety, because even a smaller woman can inflict pain and damage, then shoving her back to get yourself out of harms way is , in my opinion an acceptable exception to my “rule”.

My opinion: no way. To be a man you have to have self control. When a woman pushes a man away it’s obvious she doesn’t want to be close to him so he should back off, give her space and talk to her.

It is unappropriate for a person to hit another person when in a relationship and especially for a man to hit a woman! For me, it is not ok, even it is just for playing.
