Post First Date Afterthoughts – How to gently say, I just want to be friends?

In a nutshell, I meet this women online and while I like her personality and she was beautiful, it is difficult for us to understand one another (Different languages). The conversations have been moving slower than I would like, and it just doesn’t feel like I could ever get comfortable with this communication barrier.

How do I let her know, without hurting her feelings? And, to let her know I would like to be friends?

There is nothing in that description that should hurt her feelings. Say it just like you wrote it above. Most girls will not even be affected by it. Of the ones who are affected, most will appreciate your not stringing her along or ghosting.
