Ok so I met this girl and things were going great we got a little romantic (no sex) and all that and then she started ignoring me after we hung out a couples times. The last time we hung out we had a talk and she explained her last relationship and that she wanted to take it slow because she wants to be best friends first because she wants the next guy to be the one. Ever since then I’ve asked her to hang out, but every time it gets to that point in the conversation she ignores me. I let 5 days pass before I tried to talk to her and then she says she misses hanging out with me. What does that mean? I feel like now she just likes the attention, but I thought she genuinely liked me.

I think it’s one of two things. Either she is genuinely afraid of being hurt and wants to be sure you’re going to last, or she does just enjoy the attention. If she keeps avoiding the conversation walk away and let her come to you.

Agreed I think the best thing to to do is let her come to you, she is probably just unsure of how she feels

She might just like you and hanging out and is afraid of the pain of a nasty break up.

I agree! I’m dealing with the same thing but feel perhaps they like the attention? But is also afraid to get hurt at the same time. Best thing is to go with the flow, let her come to you. If not, there are other fishes in the sea.

Ask her out and try to be yourself – I mean do everything you did before, you will understand if she wants to be with you or just likes the attention.
