    Should I ask out a younger co-worker

I recently began working a job at a grocery store while finishing up grad school. There is a young (18-yo) woman who seems to be really into me (and I am obviously into her), and I would consider asking her out…but she’s still in high school. Our age gap doesn’t bother me so much, and obviously it’s not illegal, but the fact that she’s in high school and I am so not in high school has kept me from moving forward. We have gone out in groups with other co-workers and I enjoy spending time with her. I’m at a crossroads and I don’t know which I will regret more: not asking her out and missing out on something good, or being rejected and considered a total sleaze. I appreciate any thoughts on this.

That’s actually a great thought, but I’m afraid that she’ll think I’m not interested if I simply bide my time until then (still ~6 months away).

I think you should ask her out because if you don’t you will always wonder “what if?” I personally don’t think you would seem sleazy.
