    Slowly losing hope in men

I’ve lived a very fulfilling life and am very thankful for the experiences I have had but after various attempts of trying to meet new men, I’m truly losing hope.

I look in the mirror and no longer see that thin, blonde, blue eyed babe. My hair is getting thin and fragile, the skin on the back of my hands are lose and my wardrobe just seems drab. I get sad sometimes thinking no man will find me attractive.

My previous marriage failed because after 10 years of what I thought was genuine love between us and my 2 children, was only a lie. He left me for a woman 5 years younger than me who had a lot more money from HER previous relationship, so I was kicked to the curb.

It’s been a downhill roller coaster and I’m not sure how else I can cheer myself up besides being with my kids, who are now adults…

That’s terrible to hear Cleo. But don’t lose hope – there are plenty of nice guys out their at all ages. And somewhere, there’s a guy out there in your same situation, and it’s only a matter of time before you two meet. Stay strong!

I couldn’t help but read this post, don’t lose faith Cleo! I think you’re amongst thousands of adults who only see a dark tunnel, with no light at the end of it. Are your kids (the adults) interested in helping you find someone? Or are they trying to stop you from mingling? I ask because if they are exposed to more adults than you, they may have your best interest and be capable of getting you set up on a date or two!

I was recently pleasantly surprised when a man asked me what perfume I was wearing, we had a nice chat while we waited in line at the bank and it was nice to be recognized:)
