Along with engagements and honeymoons, Brasada Ranch is also a popular wedding destination. Brandon said there is a wedding on the property nearly every weekend, which means couples will want to book well in advance to ensure accommodations are available.

The Brasada Ranch property spans 2,000 acres filled with hiking trails and panoramic views famous for stunning sunsets.

Visitors can enjoy a day of horseback riding, followed by a farm-to-table dinner, and topped off by housemade s’mores by the fire. Couples can schedule an evening offering called Trails and Treats, which includes an excursion to Spirit Rock where hot chocolate is served around a fire.

Hiking is a popular activity any time of the year. Spirit Rock at sunset is also a romantic setting where many people choose to pop the question.

“We have a lot of couples who come in and get engaged in Brasada,” Brandon said. “Maybe they’ve been coming since they were kids, and, next thing you know, they come back to get engaged and married.”

Couples who choose to get married at the property also receive a special gift from the ranch. They are invited to stay for the first anniversary for free as a token of gratitude for sharing their big day with the team.

The property includes plenty of places for couples to walk hand in hand and admire the desert mountain peaks that surround the property. Brasada has fire pits placed throughout the ranch, and it is located near some of the most famous vineyards in Central Oregon.

“There is a sense of place at Brasada, and when you’re out there, it fits in with nature and looks like it belongs there,” Brandon said. “The sunsets are unbelievable, just cascading outward, and everything looks west toward the sunset, and every room has a walk-out terrace or private balcony.”

Brasada Ranch prides itself on culinary offerings that make it easy for couples to connect. That starts by allowing guests to dine in their rooms.

Brandon said all cabins feature full kitchens in case couples want to stay in for a romantic evening. Every bedroom has a fireplace, which may provide the extra heat couples need to watch the stars together on the deck with a glass of wine. There’s even a grill on each private deck so couples can make delicious meals together.

The ranch house suites have walk-out balconies but no kitchens. But they do include private access to hot tubs. Everything at the ranch was built within the last decade, which means it is all fairly modern.

The cabins have between two and four bedrooms, making them accessible to families and couples alike. Most have hot tubs, and all include private decks.

“We’re dog-friendly,” Brandon added. “All dogs are OK, but not in every cabin because of allergies.”

The ranch-to-table dining experience at Range Restaurant and Bar or the Ranch House includes a gourmet menu designed around some of the best wines in the country. Guests can even hire a chef to prepare a meal to enjoy alone, together. The property also has a general store where couples can purchase foods for a lunch picnic during a hike.

All of the restaurants encourage reservations to ensure everything is perfect upon arrival.

“We don’t own a can opener, so it’s as fresh as it can get,” he said.

Couples often enjoy the Brasada Ranch resort package, which makes it simple to plan a romantic getaway. When they reserve a Ranch House guestroom, Ranch House suite, or cabin with hot tub for at least two nights, they receive a set of Brasada Ranch logo wine glasses, a bottle of wine, Holm Made Toffee, and artisan bath bombs for a perfect stay together.

“We try to be hospitable and genuine. We’re in this business because we like hospitality,” Brandon said. “We try to anticipate the needs people have, and there’s nothing scripted.”

It helps that the ranch has been welcoming guests for a while, making it a pleasure to see couples returning year after year — especially if they decide to get married on the property. Couples can capture cherished memories with pictures on the Trestle Bridge or the grand Range Lawn. The rustic barn is also a popular venue for more intimate gatherings.
