I’d like to find out if I have a shot with this girl at my job. We laugh and joke but I haven’t gotten to know her that well.
I know she has a boyfriend because he works here too. So that MIGHT be an issue. I’d just like to see what happens.
What do you think my next move should be?

Well, you are an optimistic man. You have a co-worker in a committed relationship with another co-worker and you’re ready to make the moves.
While I appreciate your energy, I want you to use your empathy here. Specifically, I’d like you to put yourself in her boyfriend’s shoes. How would you feel if a guy was moving in on your girl?
My advice: Do the moral thing. Maintain clear respectful boundaries and you will be rewarded with a solid love – maybe not love from her, but it will be love from someone who is attracted to your ethics.
