The Biggest Texting Mistakes Men Make

Although a few months ago I wrote a short ebook about texting, I still get an insane amount of questions about this.

They’re usually in the lines of “Need help texting” or “Why isn’t she replying to my texts?”

This article is going to cover the six major mistakes you’re making. If you’re doing any of these right now, that’s probably why she hasn’t replied.

1. You’re overanalyzing everything she texts.

Texts are not nearly as important as what you say and do when you actually meet her. Texts are a great way to flirt and keep in contact, but never give them much importance.

This overanalyzing behavior is what destroys most guys’ chances with the girl.

2.  You’re needy.

Many guys don’t even realize what neediness is. If you’re always asking her if and when she wants to go out next, if you’re always laughing and LOLing at all her stupid jokes, if you’re constantly trying to get more useless chit-chat out of her, you are needy.

Neediness is one of the major turn-offs for both men and women, which is why you should refrain yourself from such a horrible texting habit.

3. You’re asking her too many questions.

This goes back to neediness (trying to get more conversation out of her), but at the end of the day, it’s a mistake on its own.

Do you really care about the shitty day she had at work punching data into some database? Nope. All you care about is getting to see her again so you can bring her by your place and ravish her.

If that’s what you really want, why the hell are you asking her so many retarded questions?

Keep it cool, make clear and intriguing statements and don’t put too many or even any question marks at the end of your messages. It will only get her more interested in you.

“These messages need to be witty. Without that,

your texts are identical to everyone else’s.”

4. You’re just like everyone else.

Every guy who gets her number sends her the classic “Hey, cutie/sexy. How’s it going? Xx” or “Hey, you. Are you free this Wednesday?” Believe me when I say every guy does that.

If you do it too, then you’re just as boring as everyone else.

You want her to smile when she sees your name pop up on the screen, so mix things up a little, call her out on things, tease her, intrigue her and make your texts exciting.

5. You wait too long.

There’s no such thing as a three-day rule or any other bullshit you hear.

The best thing to do is to get her number and then just say, “I’m going to text you tomorrow.” Once you say that, she’s already expecting it, which means she’s much more likely to reply.

If you wait it out too long, you’re just going to give her more time to forget about you. If you didn’t spit quality game and that number wasn’t all that solid, that girl is as good as gone.

6. You’re not funny.

One of the key things about texting is humor. When you’re texting someone, you’re not having the serious conversation you’d have in person. That’s the big issue many people overlook. You’re just exchanging short messages between each other.

These messages need to be funny, sexy and witty. Without that, your texts are identical to everyone else’s. If you stand out and make her laugh and feel sexy, you can rest assured knowing you’re almost halfway into her pants.

Texting isn’t all that complicated. You just have to make sure the attraction keeps going. Remind her of how good she felt when she met you and work on setting up the next meeting. It’s really just that simple.

This is the sort of stuff I discuss on my blog and in the free ebook I give out. If you want to increase your success with women, visit http://ThePlayerGuide.com – a place where the dating mindset is thrown out the window in favor of more direct and fruitful methods of meeting and seducing women.
