    Boyfriend says we're not connecting

My boyfriend and I have been together for 3 months and it’s been perfect. We’ve always lived about 2 hours away from each other but have managed to see each other every weekend. He asked me to be exclusive, saying he was ready for something serious with me and that he saw me being with him till the end. He also said he loved me first – saying he’s never felt this way about anyone. A couple days ago out of nowhere he told me he feels like we’re not connecting and we’re moving too fast. He said all we do is talk about what we’re going to do when we see each other and plan future trips/our future, but he wants to have normal conversations – which I thought we had. What should I do? Is him saying that the kiss of death – or is there a way to fix this? I honestly can’t imagine my life without him, please help!
