I’m 19 years old, a freshman in college. I’ve dated my boyfriend since September, and I thought he was a really nice guy. I came home for winter break from college and he lives about 3 hours from me so we didn’t expect to see each other. The first day I got home I was involved in a car accident. I broke two bones in my left leg as well as my right arm and I fractured a vertebrae. I spent several days in the hospital. Now I’m stuck in a wheelchair with a cast on my left leg from toes all the way past my knee and a cast on my arm. And I have to wear a neckbrace. I probably will have to miss a semester of college. I thought he would come and see me in the hospital or something, but he didn’t. In fact he said he might break up with me because II wouldn’t be at college next semester. Is he in the right to think this way? What should I do? I thought he loved me, but now I don’t know. Please help.

He is showing his true colors which is that he cares only on the good times. At least you know what he will do if you were married and had kids, he will leave a sick family member. He is not a true friend and is not in his right mind.
