Communicating desire for affection but not sex

    Hello!

This question is about escalating to physical contact with a girl, usually on early dates. The problem is that I’m quite shy to move things forward, and generally I’m not very active socially (more like an observer in social situations). How could I communicate, verbally or non-verbally, that I would like affection, touches, kisses etc., BUT my goal is not to lead things to sex? Though, I probably wouldn’t pull the breaks, if the girl is eager. 😀

Have a lighthearted convo about love languages. There are fun, quick little quizzes you can take online to identify your languages. This could open the door to having a convo about one of your languages, physical touch. Best of Luck in Love.
