    Dating an emotionally retarded person

I’ve been in a relationship for a year. When he met me he wanted to marry me almost immediately cuz he said he never felt that wat before but I of course didn’t encourage it. What’s weird is my boyfriend never was affectionate towards me from the start. Never held my hands nor even kissed me till today. I’m the one initiating and many times he’ll ask me to leave him alone. He tells me he loves me but I’m a very affectionate person and that means nothing. He’s a good person but what is a relationship without affection? Not even a kiss? Please tell me I’m not crazy if you’ve met similar people or what I should do. We are both 34

Oh we do have sex but of course it’s like making love to a lamp. No affection

Hi, I can relate to you. Dating an unemotional person can be very stressful and sometimes makes you feel like you are not good enough. I feel like that everyday for the past year or so. I am dating as well but it is very painful at times because I have been holding back for a very long time in saying the big word I love you but I don’t because I don’t want to get hurt or rejected.
