Do I try to make it work?

I’ve been in a relationship with FA for over 4 years. We now have a 1 year old son. We live in separate states and see each other once or twice a month even though we only live two hours apart. I refuse to move there because I have a career here with huge financial benefits. He doesn’t have a reason for not moving here. He is extremely critical of my parenting skills and I’ve always justified it as the fact that our son lives with me and he feels left out. In the past 3 years he has admitted to cheating on me 4 different times – each time having a “relationship”not just sex. He constantly complains that I am not doing enough to please him. Even though I never ask for child support, did his school work the last year of his bachelor degree, and etc…. In between all the negative he can be a sweet guy and is a good dad. I know. It sounds like I’m crazy. But that’s the question… am I? Should I continue to try to make this relationship work for the sake of my son and because I love him?
