i agree, for example i was sat on the beach just last night and got talking with an incredible girl, but she doesn’t speak much english so it was kind of awkward, but still great.

There are a lot of people out there that have trouble finding someone. That’s why internet dating is such a big business. You’re not alone. Hang in there tho, maybe mix up the places where you plan go out and socialise.

Sometimes I think I do…but I have realized that I need to figure out some other things in my life that might be subconsciously stopping me from moving forward. Does that make sense? Lol

Greenbook: – You made a ton of mistakes!
Paying anyone $1000 for photos to be on an online dating site is rip off!

“I will admit to being 5-6″ ” I thought the photos and profile ALONE would draw attention”
“I made a firm decision that I didn’t want kids.” “I was extremely shy about initiating contact with women.”
” I always indicated I was into a long term relationship.”

Just because it’s online dating doesn’t mean women are in a hurry to (pursue) men!
If you thought you’d post a photo and women would suddenly come knocking at your door that was unrealistic expectations.

There is no reason to bring up your not wanting kids! You haven’t even ordered dinner yet!
Based on what you’ve mentioned I imagine your profile was “too specific” and didn’t come off as if you’d be FUN to be around.

The “special person” you spend time with should be why you’re having thoughts of a long-term relationship.
Sounds like you’re chasing after a status and wanted a prop.
