I’ve been dating this guy. He even met my son. He’s really good with him.He has introduced me to friends, even his supervisor. We have gotten really intimate. We completely enjoy each other’s company. Now, this is where it gets tricky: One time, he casually told me that I wouldn’t be “the one” for him because I have a child and he thought that when he settled down for marriage, he would like to start having children with someone without children. I expressed my thoughts about it, and I almost ended things, but he how much he liked me and we stayed. On sat we went out, got tipsy and I told him that I didnt want to talk to him if he didnt see a relationship with me in the future. In the morning he told me how much he likes me but I ended things. We were texting and he asked me about my dream house, I descrived it and he said he had a lot to work on if we got to that level. Then he asked me to lunch. Im confused. He keeps telling me he doesnt want a relationship but acts like we r in one.

I wouldn’t talk to him because he obviously can not get over the fact that you have a kid. If he knows you aren’t the one then leave him alone. Unless he explicitly tells you that he’s wrong and that he does see a life with you leave him alone. You’re just going to get hurt in the end
