    Ghosting

    DECATUR, ILLINOIS
I met this guy online, and we met up for drinks shortly afterwards. I wanted to meetup again. We texted on a regular basis, nearly every day. He always responded to my texts. I tried for nearly two months to get this guy to meetup with me again. But, was unsuccessful. When he took the time to drive out of town, i ghosted him in response. The ghosting is permanent. I took that step because: if he can take the time to drive out of town, then why the difficulty in meeting up with me. Has anyone else faced this situation ?

Ghosting is just another form of rejection or showing someone a lack of interest.
Odds are he was dating other people as most people do who have online profiles.
They’re essentially keeping their options open as should you be doing as well.

Texting means nothing compared to having actual phone call conversations and being together in person.
Most people do not feel obligated to tell someone they’re not interested in them if they’ve only met up once.
They expect them to “get the hint” in far less time than two months.

“if he can take the time to drive out of town, then why the difficulty in meeting up with me.”
Clearly he does not see YOU as being potentially “the one”.
In a world with over 7 Billion people rejection just means: Next!

“Never love anyone who treats you like you’re ordinary.”
    Best wishes!
