I’ve never regretted breaking up with anyone.
I suspect it’s because by the time we get to the end I know I’ve given it my best.

I also do not act “impulsively”.
Anytime I initiate a breakup there has been lots of thoughtful introspective contemplation prior to announcing.

Most people who regret a breakup usually broke up for the wrong reasons or as knee jerk reaction to something trivial..
In other instances whatever they had planned or assumed about their future simply didn’t pan out.
Suddenly they want to run back to what was comfortable.

The only valid reason I can think of for getting back with an ex is if one or both people have made major changes.
Otherwise it’s like going to see a movie twice and expecting a different ending.

When you truly “let go” and “move on” it can be just a matter of weeks before you start casually dating.
