    I Appreciate the Input

I’m a male of 25 years with your average body build at 6’2. For the past 4 years I have been mistaken for being much older than my age, up to 10+ years. I tend to get offered jobs and always receive a shocked expression when I tell people my age (I am currently in a salary position). I am well aware why this is, as I have experienced a lot in my short lifetime and have a very “old school” demeanor that is rooted in wisdom beyond my years, due to the lessons of my life; but this is where my conundrum is: I don’t know how to always feel about it especially in the dating world. I’m a single father who is inevitably interested in finding someone to share my life with; but I’m always tentatively or directly approached by women 5-10 years my age, and then backed away from when they realize I am 25. I appreciate it as a compliment, but it makes me sad at the same time. I am lonely a lot of the time as I rarely meet people, my age, who have my demeanor or experience. Advice?

Get yourself out there man, you’ve got to know what you want then go for it so let’s start:

What do you want: Any age? Someone your age? Younger than you? Someone you want to settle down with?
If you don’t know what you want in a partner you’ll always be disappointed with what you have thrown at you

Go for it: There are many ways to meet people you don’t have to be lonely but just bear in mind your situation and what’s convenient for you. You’re a single father okay but how much free time do you have..?

    If you have a lot:
try a social club of something you enjoy where you can the kind of girl you’re looking for.
The street, nightclubs, grocery stores if you’re feeling brave and want to boost your confidence

If you don’t have so much time (even if you do)
Online – fast and convenient for those with responsibility. I recommend multiple dates with girls you are interested in so you get to know more about each other as you seem to want something long-term.
