I met this guy online. No one of us text first more than the other, he complimented me saying that my name is beautiful and he’s been thinking about it all day. When we text we talk a lot , he writes paragraphs and asks questions. I dont know if it’s important, he sends those emojis also (?,?❤, ?), he usually replies fast. 2 days ago he went on vacancy to his native country and texted me the day after saying “goodmorning??”, but we ended the convo fast cause he needed to board. The day after I texted him in the evening to ask him how he was since the travel was 20 hrs long. He replied thw next morning and said he was good and that the travel was very exhausting, then asked about me. I replied myself but hasnt read my text for about 6 hours now even tho he got onlune 1 hr ago. Did I do the wrong thing?

I don’t think you did anything major wrong. What I do think is, you should keep the communication of texts frequent with him and do not let time lapse between the two of you texting. That’s silly to me. The only way you let the texting lapse is if the matter you can’t text right away back is urgent. If it is not urgent, then keep texting as rapidly as you can. With that rapid texting, the two of you will only grow/get closer…

texting is not the same as a face to face convo. It’s OK not to reply straight away.November 22, 2019 at 6:40 am #225599
Thank you for the advices, he replied (he was sweet as always) the same day, but it’s been since saturday evening that we dont talk…I dont want to come off as clingy so I dont know if I shoukd text or wait he comes back from his vacancy

You’re not in a ” exclusive relationship” so make sure you’re keeping your options open by dating other guys.
You may be dealing with a “catfish”. Either way it’s much too early to be dwelling on this guy.
Avoid becoming (emotionally invested) in anyone you have never spent any time with (in person).
