To all of you experienced daters out there, please help me decipher the behavior of this guy I’ve met in my French language classes. On Sunday we had out first date, at a coffee shop. We kicked off well, with him showing genuine interest in me and my work, discovering that we have quite many things in common in terms of our preferences, hobbies and the like, laughing and teasing. There were no uncomfortable moments of silence. He seemed straightforward, yet polite. At one point he suggested going to my place to have dinner. I politely declined invoking some logistical issues (which are true). So we continued our date in a restaurant where we had our supper. He walked me home and at the end of the date he took the initiative and kissed me. I responded but needed to cool him a bit as he tried to be too touchy-feely. I said we should slow down to just enjoy, savor these moments and he said that was fine with him. We arranged to meet for a second date, on the next Friday. He said he would

Sounds to me that he’s just looking for sex. I’d give it a few more dates to see if he hangs on.
