I do not know of one person, man or woman who has not made this statement in relationship to texting the object of their desires. It is bad enough when I’ve had a knee-jerk reaction and responded with something too heavy or detailed, but to text when the ball is in the other person’s court is most certainly the text of death.
People, call whomever you have to call, text whomever you have to text. Reach out to the peeps who are actually showing you love, who have your back and best interests at heart….DO NOT TEXT.
I am sitting in the asylum in *space….thankfully I have taken up knitting to calm my mind and keep my fingertips off of my phone screen. I have to say that am not a person who does well when I have to relinquish control for the greater good…..especially when I am not one hundred percent certain this is for the greater good. I am the cut and run girl, and I am a very fast runner due to the fact that I do not look back while I am in motion.

I will do just about anything to avoid uncertainty, or the possibility of rejection. I have had to set my ego aside here and I have to say I am not a fan.
I woke up this morning to a text from Joe, a superficial text. The kind where I know he is staying in touch, testing the mood and giving me nothing. OK maybe not nothing. It is a sign of life and it is a share. I haven’t texted back yet. He didn’t really leave me a lot of room for a comeback and I am slightly annoyed. I hate texts, worst invention ever. I credit texts with the demise of sanity.
Rumor has it I will be released from the asylum on Sunday, and back in control of my destiny. Hopefully Joe will be picking me up, if not I am prepared to take a taxi home. Whatever the result at least I will not be tangled in yarn anymore.
P.S I believe in Fairy Tales
Today’s Mantra: I will surround myself in Love.

*Space: A place to bring the heart, mind and soul together. It is the zone between infatuation and love where conscious thought reigns supreme. space is where I go to decide whether or not to open my heart and let love flow without the distraction of rose-coloured glasses.
