Is it outdated for men to be the pursuers in dating and relationships today?

Is it outdated for men to still be the pursuers when it comes to dating and relationships? First lets discuss how men’s gender roles have changed in modern times. Men are now taught that they should have women throwing themselves at them. This is their new, ultimate goal and they are no longer taught to pursue a woman. Women now are more independent than we have ever been in history. Even women who struggle financially and don’t have the best education still find that they have to do everything to support themselves and their families. Women are now the hunters and pursuers while men are able to take a more relaxed, laid back, casual approach to dating and life in general. How do we women today who have to be the alpha female, suppress are heightened hunter instincts and allow the man to pursue us when gender roles have shifted so profoundly?

Hi I get this question a lot, women are confused if they should pursue men, and I say no they should not! Women have a masculine energy if they do and that’s a huge turn off for men.

In New York City there are 6 single females to 1 single male, so there is a lot of competition and the ratios are skewed. Due to online dating the next cute thing is just a click away so men don’t have to work that hard to find someone.
