My husband and I have been arguing over his high school friends the past few months, and each time we fight it never gets resolved. He and I both agree that some of his high school friends are toxic/snakes to be around, and whenever I tell him to let them go… He never does. He believes that everyone should be given a second chance, but his toxic friends are known by many to have always been this way. I tell him that it is frustrating for me to hear him say/agree with me that these people are shitty beyond repair over the gossiping, back-stabbing, lying, and manipulation that they have caused either me, him, other friends, or all of the above… Just for him to turn around and greet these toxic people. I tell him that it makes him just like them by being fake, and he tells me that he can’t be as callous as me to drop them so easily.

I believe if someone doesn’t like me, then they shouldn’t talk to me. Simple.

Am I in the wrong, or is he blinded by friendship to give up?

Well friendship can start into a wonderful thing. Although does sound like he is letting his friends overun him and I’m my book that’s not his friends anymore. True friends wouldn’t do that
