    new guy

met a guy online. we finally decided to meet and we did last Saturday. a true gentleman to say the least. every day I get a morning text message from him. he calls me every night and wants to hear my voice. he really wants to get together and I do want to see him, but………..right now I can not make every day available to him. he wants to have fun which I am all about but I have prior commitments……a new puppy….and things already set up with family and friends for vacation. he is very persistant in wanting to get together every other day….we live 50 miles apart….I just feel he is really being pushy to get together. I want to take things slow and am overwhelmed at how he is treating me. I don’t know what to do. yes he is a nice guy, I don’t fall in love at first site, but I think he did……I guess it is scaring me that he is very persistant.

Scary…why is he so obsessed with you already. Controlling. Run!

Agreed. Run. Too much too soon. It won’t get any better. Red flags everywhere.

Omg! The same thing happened to me. Although he was a nice guy, I found it extremely creepy how into me he was so soon. I told him that he was really clingy and that we were moving too fast. He said that he’d change, but I felt that was unfair on his part, so I eventually stopped talking to him. You’ll have to either stop speaking to him or give him a chance.

I think you should just tell him how you feel and say that you want to take things slow. I think its a good thing that he’s acting like that, he shows that he likes you, but everyone needs their space.
