I am a single man who has become very much attracted to a woman who works at the company I work at but until recently, I had very little to no contact with her because we work in different departments. I was a little afraid of getting rejected by her so instead of asking her out for a normal date, I asked her to lunch to discuss “work related issues” and she accepted the invitation because she wants to help me with my work. My question is: when I meet with her for the work lunch, should I just let her know that I am attracted to her and have an interest in dating her at that time? Or should I instead just pretend that it really is a work lunch and look for other opportunities for the two of us to meet “for work” so she can get to know me better before I reveal my true intentions for her? My fear in waiting is that I might not be able to easily find opportunities for us to meet for work so I might never get another chance to meet with her privately. What do you think?

First dont tell her on the work date you will make it weird for her but maybe at the end of it say something like even know its work related I really enjoyed your company I was wondering if maybe you would like to have a drink a little more causal with me that way she can make up her mind and then you can see if she would like to get to know you outside of work good luck
