    She broke it off, but something doesn't feel right

    Hi there,

    So I’ve been dating a girl for a month and Thursday she ended things. She told me she’d been keeping it going because she was quite fond of me, but her attraction to me was not growing stronger.

    A bit to add: a week before we met, she was sexually assaulted. It was a consensual encounter where he did something she wasn’t comfortable with and “There is only so many times you can say no.” I don’t know much else about it.

    We went out for a little over a month. Had sex twice. Talked all the time and generally enjoyed eachother’s company.

    Halfway through, she started asking to “Do something more lowkey” which meant dinner and then I drop her off at her place. On our last date, she told me she was quite fond of me but her feelings of attraction toward me were not growing stronger and she’d been waiting for that to happen, but it wasn’t.
