There is this guy that I met on a dating app I was particularly interested in. We now have exchanged phone numbers and follow each other on Instagram. We’ve texted for three weeks now and he asked me out a couple times, but it just so happens I’ve been out of town for work. He kept in touch with me while I was out of town and we had really good conversations about things we were going to do together when I got back. After I was in town we finally nailed down a date to meet. And after allll that texting I didn’t hear from him all day that day. I had to reach out around 5:30 and say”hey did you still want to get together tonight?” He said he had to travel for work that day and just got back so it would be better to do something that weekend.. well, I had plans AGAIN to travel for work that weekend. Since I’ve been out of town so much and he’s taken initiative to ask me out a couple times, could I ask him out to meet for coffee? Or leave that up to him? He might have given up by now idk.

It’s 2019! It’s okay to ask a guy out to coffee….etc.
Nothing ventured, nothing gained.
If you don’t end up going out you haven’t lost anything.

Maybe he’s scared to ask you out. You won’t lose anything, you might end up in a great relationship or with a good friend. Worst case scenario you could realize he’s not worth your time

Definitely! Coffee date is casual and it can fit in your guys busy schedules better.

Yes! Guys have no issue with being asked out

Definitely ask him out! If a date was already setup and had to be cancelled, then there should not be any embarrassment in asking the guy out.
