    Thorny Dating Situation

So, for a few months last summer, until October, I was seeing a girl from the same east coast state as me in California. We look alike and have the same interests. (I checked, we’re not relatives). Things were great until I caught her with another guy, who she revealed she’d been hiding that she lived with. I got pissed and left the area for a while to see my family over the holidays. Unfortunately, her cousin was in a hit and run and almost died and their restaurant is failing from the bills. I gave them a lot of money to help but asked she stop with the other guy. She has refused and has started giving me the silent treatment except to want money. We had a brief argument yesterday but I left to avoid looking evil because of her cousin. My friends say she’s being disrespectful, her friends want to stay out of it because they like me but sympathize with her. I want her and I feel guilty about her cousin but don’t want to blow things more. Any ideas?

“a few months last summer, until October, I was seeing a girl..”

“I caught her with another guy, who she revealed she’d been hiding that she lived with.”

” I gave them {a lot of money} to help but asked she stop with the other guy.”

“She has refused and has started giving me the silent treatment except to want money.”

“I want her and…don’t want to blow things more.”

There is no amount of “communication” or “work” which can overcome being with someone who doesn’t want what you want!

In order for her to be “the one” (she) would have to see (you) as being “the one”.
At the very least a “soulmate” is someone who actually wants to be with you!

Sounds like you were the “side piece” in this love triangle and now you’re the only one getting the “silent treatment”.

In a world of over 7 Billion people rejection just means: Next!
(Stop letting her use you for your money!) – Love yourself enough to know YOU deserve better and move on!

The world may not owe you anything but YOU owe yourself the world!
