Hi, I’m a 22 year old guy. I’ve never had a girlfriend, though I’ve gone out with a female friend before a couple of times on what I thought were dates. We appreciate each other’s company. But when I asked her out, she told me that she was older than me and that she needed to settle some other issues with her ex-boyfriend. At school, I was a quite of a “popular” guy and did have attention from girls. The problem was that I was too young and could not recognise the signs girls were giving me.
I’m currently at university, where I am particularly known as being bright student, given that I do well in tests and exams.
I am generally self-confident, and would humbly say that I am above-average looking (though I am now overweight due to a health problem, but the kilos are melting away now).
Why don’t I have a girlfriend yet? I’ll do whatever it takes to get a girlfriend. I’m now 22 and feel that I am missing out on the fun years of dating.
I would love your advice. Many thanks.

Im 26 and am the same way, didn’t get my first kiss until I was 24 and haven’t been able to get a girl interested in me for more than 2 weeks and im an airline pilot! This stuff aint easy as people make it out to be. Have been searching answers for a long time and neither I nor any of my friends can figure this problem out. If you got your first kiss already then you are way ahead of me at that age!

Seems like you’re too preoccupied with it, people can tell when you’re desperate.
