So how did you get yourself into this fix?

When first encountering a girl they like, many guys will try to avoid instant rejection by going the “just friends” route first, thinking that once the girl sees what a nice, thoughtful guy he is or how much they have in common, he can just flip a switch and turn the “friendship” into a “romance.”

This, of course, rarely works out the way the guy plans, and he ends up stuck in the dreaded “just friends” zone.

And as most singles guys have found out the hard way, once in the just friends zone, it’s almost impossible to get yourself out of it.

Trying to escape the just friends zone by suddenly declaring your secret love for your girl “friend” almost always ends in disaster, especially if you’ve been “just friends” for longer than a few months.

Most women will feel betrayed and think your friendship was only a cover for your more nefarious and secret ulterior motives, which is probably true in most cases.

“Creating sexual tension is the only way

to spark the flames of romantic desire.”

In fact, the only real chance you have of escaping the just friends zone has to come from her. She has to change how she feels or thinks about you.

If she wants to keep it just friends, and you directly try to change her mind, she will totally resist and find all sorts of arguments why you shouldn’t.

But if you can change your approach in a way that causes her to alter her perception of you, then she will be the one trying to escalate the relationship.

Raising your sexual and romantic value.

The first thing you need to know is women are WAY ahead of guys in thinking about their romantic relationships.

Based on the initial encounter and your first couple of interactions, she most likely already placed you into either the potential lover category or the just friends category.

If you continue interacting with a girl as just a friend, then she will continue interacting with you as just a friend. If you want her to view you as a boyfriend, then you need to start talking and acting like one with her.

Creating some sexual tension, and eventually sexual energy, between the two of you is really the only way to spark the flames of romantic desire. If you want to get out of the friend zone, then you need to be clearer with her about your intentions and your feelings for her. Make a move, or be satisfied staying friends with her!
