According to Frank Kaiser, a columnist who specializes in senior topics, as he grows older, he values women who are over 40 most of all. In one of his articles, he writes:

“Few women past the age of 40 give a damn what you might think about her or what she’s doing. Older women are dignified. They seldom have a screaming match with you at the opera or in the middle of an expensive restaurant. Of course, if you deserve it, they won’t hesitate to shoot you if they think they can get away with it.”

Kaiser’s view that women over the age of 40 should be respected and not neglected is refreshing. He continues, “Yes, we praise older women for a multitude of reasons. Unfortunately, it’s not reciprocal. For every stunning, smart, well-coiffed hot woman over 40, there is a bald, paunchy relic in yellow pants making a fool of himself with some 22-year-old waitress.”

So if you’re like Kaiser and you value a woman in her 40s, 50s, 60s, 70s and above, where do you find such a specimen? I’ll give you one hint: It’s not going to be the same places you’d find a 22-year-old waitress.

1. Try the gym.

Women that Kaiser speaks of most likely have a gym membership. Just remember the demographic you’re hunting. Try the local YMCA, community center or boutique fitness center.

Chances are your lady-in-waiting won’t be alongside all of the 20-something hard bodies training for the upcoming wet T-shirt contest.

2. Try a hobby.

Taking an art class or joining a Scrabble league is a great way to meet like-minded individuals. Do you love to cook? Sign up for co-ed culinary classes.

Aside from exploring where to find these mature single ladies, it’s also important to learn how to find them. Dating tactics that worked when you were in your 30s are most likely not going to work for you now.

Chances are you and the woman you’d like to ask out on a date have both been through a few relationship disasters. At this point, life is short and playing games should be avoided.

Be honest and open, and tell her exactly what you’re thinking/feeling. A woman over 40 has dealt with enough bull from guys.

Kaiser is a great example of a man who respects and values the maturity and beauty that comes with being a woman over 40. If you’re looking to hop aboard, then remember you must think about where you would find such a lady and how to approach her.
