When people separate, they may have strong feelings for each other even if the breakup was meant to be. Losing a lover feels like losing a leg. That leg may have had gangrene and needed to be amputated, but you still miss it!
The answer is time. Get busy. Get out of the house. Meet new friends. Stir up new social energy in your life. And don’t call her. It will only make those feelings linger longer.
