You may have seen the movie “How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days” starring Matthew McConaughey and Kate Hudson. The film included a subplot in which McConaughey’s character takes a bet that he could make a girl fall in love with him in 10 days while Hudson’s character was tasked with ditching a guy in 10 days.

While I cannot offer any advice that would help you get a woman to fall in love with you in 10 days, simply because I do not believe true love can be cultivated in such a short time, I do have the perfect formula for getting a girlfriend in 30 days.

Here’s how it’s done:

1. Post a profile on every dating site.

If you want to invest a few bucks, you can always pay for a membership, but free sites are just as effective. Be sure to fill out all questionnaires thoroughly and honestly. If you’re not word savvy, you may want to employ the help of a trusted female friend.

Post a number of recent, flattering pictures of yourself and wait three days before you make a move.

More than likely, a handful of women will initiate communication and contact you immediately. Write them back and go from there. If this doesn’t happen, start searching for your next girlfriend on your own.

Find 10 women on every site you join and send them a message introducing yourself. One or more is guaranteed to write you back.

“There is no reason you should be

single if you don’t want to be.”

2. Tell everyone you know that you’re available.

Let everyone you know that you are looking to meet a wonderful woman who will enhance your quality of life. Ask co-workers, guy friends, family members and platonic girlfriends to get you hooked up ASAP.

3. Go out every night for 10 days.

Find an attractive woman and mosey over and introduce yourself. Get her digits, call her later and ask her out. If you are overtly shy and shudder at the thought of striking up a conversation with a complete stranger, you’re going to have to get out of your comfort zone sooner or later. Choose sooner. If you need moral support, bring a buddy along.

4. Schedule numerous dates for the next two weeks.

Pay close attention to your feelings and conversations with each woman. Schedule second dates only with the women you feel a connection with.

There you have it — a basic set of instructions that will get you a girlfriend in 30 days or less. Get busy and take control of your destiny. There is no reason you should be single if you don’t want to be.
