It’s never OK to let someone else dictate when you get to spend time with friends, even if that someone is your significant other. In order to have satisfying lives, we need to balance quality time between friends, family and significant others.

You need to try varying up your routine so you can maintain the relationships you still have with your friends. Have a talk with your significant other to let them know how you’re feeling. Offer to go out with your friends so they can have a night with theirs. This will show that you’re considerate of their time with their friends, and you will get the time with your friends that you’ve been craving.

If they aren’t willing to compromise, then it’s up to you to decide the next step.
