I like my ex and he knows it, but he also knows that I’m dating right now. Me and my ex know everything about each other, and we have a spark every time we see each other. I just want him to stop acting funny to me and go out with my friends.

I’m a bit confused. You still like your ex and he knows it, but you want him to go out with your friends? Am I missing something? It sounds like the spark between you and your ex is alive and well. Why not give the relationship another shot?
The two of you already “know everything about each other,” so there won’t be any of that “beginning of a relationship” awkwardness. Now, I’m not sure why the two of you broke up in the first place or how long you were together, but unless you split because of an irreparable issue (cheating, different life goals, etc.), then I say go for it. Invite your ex to coffee and tell him what you told me. If the spark is there, then your relationship is something that should be revisited.
