So you’ve met this amazing guy. The two of you have been chatting online for over two weeks and he finally asks you out to dinner. As in, a man and a woman sitting across from a table together — in the flesh — and eating a meal. As in, not downing a pint of ice cream as you type sweet nothings from across town. Anyway, this awesome dude’s invited you out to dinner, you say yes and now you’re completely freaking out.
Just relax and take a deep breath because you got this. You shouldn’t be scared per se. Being anxious makes more sense. If you’re actually scared to meet this guy, then get the hell out of Dodge. If you’re nervous and on the border of a panic attack, then have a few sips of white wine, call your best friend for a pep talk and put on an outfit that makes you feel over-the-top self-confident. Just remember, this guy has seen pictures of you and he’s obviously attracted to your personality. So what’s there to be uneasy about?
