I am overweight and it seems nearly impossible to meet a nice guy online who isn’t looking for a perfect 10 body. I am lonely and looking for someone nice, smart and honest to spend time with.
How do I begin?

Online dating is a process that can be difficult for many people. As you know, there are many men who like more curves on a woman. There are even some dating websites devoted to it (maybe worth exploring).
Keep your search to men with indicated interested in women with your body type. Play your assets. Display who you are with confidence. Post the prettiest pictures of the real you. Be the best version of yourself.
I’d never advocate telling a woman to try to change who she is, but if the men are attracted to only smaller women, you have the option to try to change your body (seriously be healthy about it, though).
And be forgiving of others. Give chances to guys who you may not consider “perfect” in their own right.
