The Short Version: Addison Bell has always been interested in helping people but had to overcome challenges in her life to become the sex and relationship coach she is today. She is certified in a variety of techniques that allow her to help individuals and couples have more fulfilling relationships — both with themselves and others. She uses her personal experiences to better connect with clients and tailors sessions to fit their needs. Addison offers in-person coaching in the Dallas area and reaches people around the world through her online courses, which are self-paced and can be completed at any time.

In recent years, the topic of mental health has lost some of its stigma as people become more open to talking about their feelings and seeking out coaching or counseling. But Addison Bell, Founder of Addison Bell Coaching, believes that many people still have a disconnect in their lives. They don’t place enough emphasis on their sexual health — or how it relates to the rest of their lives.

“Most counselors leave out a whole piece of people’s lives — the sexual piece,” she said. “But sex impacts every area of your life; your relationships, career, and finances.”

From an early age, Addison Bell has been interested in helping others.

Addison describes herself as a bliss coach who helps women and men explore all aspects of their themselves, with a focus on sexuality, so they can enrich their lives. In addition to having earned a Master’ degree in counseling and several certifications in coaching, she is an ordained minister, author, and a practitioner of both Tantra and Reiki.

A bliss-filled life means living authentically on your own terms and includes tapping into the beauty that often gets lost in the commotion of daily routines with family, work, friends, and kids. She focuses on practicing gratitude — even when it seems easier to find something negative in a situation. Blissful people wake up excited to greet the day and get started. And they understand that all aspects of their life — career, relationships, sexuality, emotions, and spirit — are interconnected and need nurturing.

Addison helps her clients erase their limiting beliefs, sort through the negativity, and discover the life they were meant to live.

An Authentic Expert Who Helps Couples and Individuals

In addition to her training, certifications, and expertise, Addison said she coaches from a place of acceptance and understanding. She’s experienced sexual abuse and rape. She may not have been through every situation that she encounters with her clients, but Addison has dealt with enough adversity that she can confidently use what she has learned to have a positive impact on others. Addison’s approach is authentic and compassionate, yet she is straightforward and forthcoming with her clients.

Both individuals and couples seek out Addison’s coaching services, and she works primarily with people between the ages of 30 and 65. Many times, one partner will seek out coaching to work on his or her individual issues, and then, later, the other will join after they see their partner’s transformation.

Addison helped one client lose 100 pounds while also helping him with his erectile dysfunction.

One of her most memorable success stories is about a man who came to her for help with handling his erectile dysfunction issues. “We worked through him learning to love himself — both sexually and outside the sexual element,” she said.

She used practical coaching methods to help him accomplish his goals. Not only did he see positive results with his erectile dysfunction, which led him to seek help, but he also got an unexpected result. As he learned how to become his authentic self, take control of his life, and seek out that which he desired, he also lost more than 100 pounds. And he accomplished that dramatic weight loss without a strict diet or exercise plan.

“He stepped into his awareness of himself and his own energy and took control of what he desired in his life,” Addison said.

Individualized Sessions Rooted in Personal Experience

Some people prefer to leave their past behind and use the lessons they’ve learned to move forward. Addison uses her past to shape her future for the better, but she doesn’t shy away from the negative effects of those experiences.

Each experience is a story that she uses to help those clients who would benefit from hearing it. She said she discusses how she overcame the hardship and what she learned from it. Addison teaches clients to make their lives more blissful and passionate by embracing — and learning from — all that life has to offer.

While she has a basic framework for coaching, she said she doesn’t follow a strict formula because each client is unique, so sessions are highly individualized.

“I meet them where they’re at, in terms of the specific advice they need,” she said. “Some need more tips and tricks, while others can use more spiritual and energy work; I bring in whatever they need.”

The coaching programs are also tailored to fit within clients’ schedules. Some people need a session each week, while others are better served meeting with Addison every other week.

“For in-person sessions, we do a combination of talk coaching and meditative coaching,” she said. “As clients progress, they may do some non-sexual tantric practices — like eye contact and breathing techniques to help them with connection skills.”

Expanding Her Reach From In-Person Visits to Online Consulting

Addison works in person with local clients in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. For clients based in other parts of the world, she coaches over the phone or uses Zoom for video calls.

She offers online courses because “they give clients the ability to do the work on their terms and at the pace they desire,” she said.

Addison’s online resources allow clients to work on their relationships wherever they are.

Her online courses include topics like Solo Tantra, Becoming A Goddess, and Oral Intimacy. The Becoming A Goddess course helps women focus on their beliefs on body image, sexuality, and spirit. Addison delivers the content through videos, worksheets, and life-changing exercises to help participants explore their Goddess nature.

Another way Addison reaches women is through live talks at private events. She also hosts workshops on topics that help women increase their sexual confidence. Addison frequently collaborates with fellow coach, Kendal Williams, for her live events.

Through her YouTube Channel and blog, Addison connects with her followers and shares information. The blog has a variety of content that provides readers with tips and tricks and shares stories about how Addison’s life experiences have shaped her.

Addison is living proof that the past doesn’t have to define a person’s future. Positive changes and healthy encouragement can lead people in the right direction — and to a more authentic, bliss-filled life.
